Leigh Conant
Leigh Conant, MS, LMFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose passion is to help couples and families create stronger connections. She has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT) and is certified as an Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapist (IBCT).
Leigh provides a safe and nurturing environment to become more engaged, responsive and thriving in relationships. She works to deeply understand and support her clients, helping them explore their patterns of interaction that lead to distress and disconnection in their relationships. Through this understanding she helps guide clients in building a safer, more secure emotional bond and deeper connection.
Leigh has worked extensively with the military community, helping individuals, couples and families with a variety of stressors including combat-related trauma and injuries, anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, deployments and frequent relocations.
Leigh is a licensed in the state of Virginia and Massachusetts. She is a member of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) and a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Leigh earned her master’s degree from Virginia Tech’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program and is a military spouse.
