Supervision Groups

For more information about any of these groups and/or to register, please contact Melissa at melissa@wbceft.com. Tuition for groups varies from $50 – 90 and meeting times last from 90 minutes to two hours.

1) Core Skills supervision group:  Core Skills weekends are jam packed with information and spread out by a few months. Our group will meet virtually for one Friday in-between each Core Skills weekend to keep the learning process going!  We will review material from the previous Core Skills weekend, answer questions, do case consultation, and get support from one another! Participation is limited to therapists enrolled in Core Skills at WBCEFT. This is a great way to maximize your Core Skills learning in a convenient online format.

2) EFT Foundations supervision group: If you have completed the Externship or Core Skills and want to continue learning EFT, but aren’t quite ready to jump into certification, our Foundations group is a great starting point. We will meet one Friday a month, with options for virtual and in-person sessions. We will review the model, answer your learning questions, and give you the chance to see more EFT in action. Certified EFT therapists will join the group to share tapes of their own work. This is a terrific opportunity, not only to understand the “why” of EFT but to actually see the “how” of EFT in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

3) Certification or Bust supervision group: If you are working towards certification and have completed Core Skills or Core Skills plus, this group can help take your EFT to the next level. Surrounded by other EFT therapists actively pursuing certification, we will review videotaped sessions, talk and share about the supervision process, and focus on your specific learning needs related to certification. Participants must be actively pursuing certification, seeing couples regularly, and able to show their work to the group. We will meet monthly on Fridays (starting in Spring of 2017) with options to meet virtually and in-person at the WBCEFT.

4) Certified supervision group: Open to certified EFT therapists and EFT Supervisors-In-Training in the Washington DC Metro area. Meets monthly on Fridays, alternating between virtual sessions and in-person meetings at the WBCEFT. Gain support from your peers, get the chance to get into the nitty-gritty of EFT and EFT supervision, and be a part of building and supporting our local EFT community.
