Welcome to the Washington Baltimore Center for EFT
We are affiliated with the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) originated by Sue Johnson, Ed.D., and provide training and consultation in EFT for mental health professionals.
EFT is an empirically validated, humanistic and short term, psychotherapeutic approach to working with couples.
As an organization committed to excellence in EFT training, we offer all levels of instruction: introductions to the model, Externships, Core Skills Advanced Trainings, trainings in working with trauma and infidelity as well as other special topics trainings. You will find our upcoming trainings listed on the Training Events page.
We have listings of local Certified EFT therapists. All of these professionals have completed the Externship and are members of ICEEFT. Those certified in EFT are listed first. For more information about any of the professionals listed, please contact them directly.
